Accessory Steal of the Week: Forever 21 Emerald Bag

In this new weekly column by the fabulous Sydne Summer of Sydne Style, we'll be bringing you an amazing bauble, shoe or bag that just looks expensive! —BB

I was so excited when the Budget Babe asked me to write a weekly column on affordable accessories. Not only have I been a long time fan of this site, but BB and I are friends in real life, too (and yes, she’s even more awesome in person!).

Every week, I’m going to introduce you to my favorite budget-friendly accessory that’s currently available online or in stores. Since emerald is the hottest color of the year, I figured I’d kick off the series with this gorgeous Forever 21 handbag.

A jewel tone bag can easily be a neutral accessory in your wardrobe. You can pair emerald with just about everything from black and brown to other popular fall colors, like wine and cobalt blue.

I found this one in the new arrivals at my local Forever 21. The main reason it looks more expensive than its $29.80 price tag is the hardware. When picking out a bag of your own, look for special details, like exposed zippers and gold accents.

While this bag isn’t available online yet, I’m also loving the cross-body version ($21.80), which features the same shiny gold closure.

To see how I’m wearing my accessory steal, check out this week’s Staples Series on!

Got this bag not too long ago in and absolutely adore it! Didn't know it wasn't available online yet, so glad I snagged it when I did.
