When I was asked to do a review on a new company, Ava Gray Direct, I was very excited! I love discovering new places to shop, and was drawn to Ava Gray's chic website. I chose 5 beautiful fall items to review for you budget babes! Keep reading to see what I thought.
First, some background on the brand: The Ava Gray collection is all under $100, made in the USA, and designed and developed by Lynn Zachos, a career entrepreneur who just launched this label with her daughter. The duo wanted to create comfortable clothing - pieces that feel like you’re wearing pajamas but are still cute enough to wear to the office or running errands.
The first item I chose was this cozy blue sweatshirt ($58). When I first took it out of the box, I first noticed how large it seemed. I ordered a small, so I was surprised to see how long the sweater was (you can see this on me, I am about 5'6!). It is super soft and comfy. I love the neck detailing, as well. While this might be too long for women on the petite side, it is a great piece to lounge around in.
Here is a shot of the back. Even though this is not a real hood, it adds a nice detail to the sweater.
The next top I chose was this class popover ($60) which is so cute for fall. I ordered a small, but this still was pretty big on me. I asked my friend to model this, as it fit her a little better! She is normally a medium, but this small fit perfectly.
The top is also soft and flowy. It would be a great shirt for running around in, or dressed up with some statement jewelry! It also goes perfect with some leggings and boots.
This beautiful floral scarf ($35) went perfect with the top, but could really go with anything! I love this for a pop of color in the fall, but this would go amazing with outfits during any season (I'm thinking a white tank in the spring?). It was long enough to be tied into an infinity scarf, but could be worn in many styles. I loved how large the scarf was, making it extremely versatile.
And lastly, maybe my favorites of the package, this adorable clutch ($44) and bracelet ($39). I absolutely adore camel accessories for this fall. This is the perfect size for a dinner date! Even better? It comes with a long strap AND a wrist strap! This clutch can be carried 3 ways. Amazing.
The bracelet is also a great accessory. This bracelet stretches, so you don't have to be worried about it breaking or not fitting. I love the coral color, especially against this camel clutch. Again, perfect for multiple seasons. I'll definitely get tons of use of this statement piece!
Overall, Ava Gray Direct offers quality clothes at an affordable price. From the pieces I received, I believe they run large, so I would consider ordering a size down. The accessories are great quality and are sure to live up to your standards!
