Ask BB: Delicate Bar Earrings On A Budget

Nicole Beharie

I was hoping you could help me find a budget-friendly alternative to Nicole Beharie's look in the People Magazine "50 Most Beautiful People" issue. I'd die for that leather jacket and the earrings (well, the one you can see in the photo)! —Crystal B.

I, too, have been searching for a simple bar earring ever since seeing Cupcakes & Cashmere in her Zoe Chicco pair. I prefer dainty jewelry for everyday; it's also practical when you have a baby.

So, when you sent me this question, I started hunting in ernest and found (and purchased!) these bar earrings at BAUBLEBAR.COM ($24, gold or silver):

Also, don't forget, this week only you can get 15% cash back on your purchases at BAUBLEBAR.COM when you use Ebates (sign up here).

Here are some more earring options under $50 (these Olive Yew! simple bar earrings at SHOPTIQUES.COM are my favorite):

As for the quilted leather jacket (swoon), try this one from H&M ($60):

Hi!

AllHailTheSale here! We found some great bar earrings on Etsy. Also found some small delicate ones as part of an Urban Outfitters multi-pack. On sale they ended up being about a $1.50 for 3 sets of studs. I sometimes like to wear my bar earrings in my second hole horizontally. Just an idea! Be sure to follow us @allhailthesale for more bargain buys!

I've never seen earrings like that before, but I really like them!
