Late summer is always a transitional time in fashion. When you’re shopping, unless something is on major sale, you want to start thinking about pieces that can carry you into fall. That’s where a leopard bag comes in. An animal print works year-round. And the cross-body style is still going strong!
While I’m a huge fan of animal prints, sometimes all you need is just a touch. That’s why I loved this Express purse ($49.50). The haircalf trim ups the luxury factor, especially with the gold metal piping. It comes in black and ivory but I prefer the lighter color for summer. You can wear it with brights now. Then come fall, use it to spruce up denim and darker pieces in your wardrobe.
I’m also a fan of any small bag that actually fits my wallet. Don’t you hate having to take out your credit cards when you swap purses?
