Last week, the Elie Tahari for Kohl's collection launched and I was lucky enough to go see the pieces offered and pick up a few items courtesy of a Kohl's gift card. The entire collection is inspired by New York City, which is made obvious through its cool, dark tones and city-sleek feel. While the line offers amazing coats, dresses, skirts, and tops, I cannot resist a good sweater! This NYC sweater immediately drew my attention. Because I love sweaters to be big and comfortable, I decided to go with a large for the oversized look. Today, I am showing two ways to style this simple sweater and make it your own.
Look 1: Paired with a vest + knee-high boots
A vest is a great way to add some more warmth when it's chilly out, but also to give a sweater a completely different look. I went with a grey knit sweater from Kohl's to lighten up the outfit a little bit. The exact one shown is available in-store, any there are a wide variety of sizes and colors available online as well. Paired with some black knee-high boots, this makes for the perfect fall outfit. Look 2: Feminine pearls + printed flats
To make the sweater feel a little more feminine and girly, try adding a row of oversize pearls. There are a ton of pearl options at Kohl's, but these one in particular caught my eye. To give the outfit a fun pop of print, I added some cheetah flats with a pretty little bow.
