Three Ways to Wear: Leopard Sweater

Three ways to wear a leopard sweater

I am convinced that leopard print will never cease from the fashion world. Fine by me! Right now, The Budget Babe loves the sassy and loud print on sweaters. So we’ve come up with three celeb and street style-inspired ways to wear one effortlessly for fall and winter!

Shop Leopard Sweaters Under $60:

1. Color Pop: No one says that leopard should only be neutral colors! Alessandra opts for a pop of color with her overall casual and tomboyish look, fairly close to her look we recreated in a recent Dress By Number. Here she pairs her sweater with black high top sneakers and destroyed skinnies, perfect as she seems to be on the go! Nicole Richie and Victoria Beckham were also seen wearing a similar Balenciaga sweater with black bottoms and pumps.

2. Class Act: I love how unfussy Miranda Kerr’s outfit is; yet she is paparazzi and Pinterest-worthy like no other! This is thanks to her black blazer and wide-brimmed fedora; effortless pieces that make basic skinny jeans and sweater look classy. Oxford shoes or ankle booties would be adorable alternates for her flats, and a moto jacket would give some edge if you’re game. Play with different pops of color too—think burgundy, cobalt, green—be daring!

3. Print Mixing: Can I just wear this every day and have no one care? Fashion blogger Blair Eadie nailed the mixed-media method by pairing her cat print with a striped flare skirt. Take a layering tip as well and wear a collared button-down blouse underneath for more detail without going overboard. The belt is one of the smallest accessories but it’s probably my favorite part because it is an unexpected game-changer despite its earth tone. The nude pumps keep the focus upward, but still draw the eye in with the capped toe and tie in well with the colorblocking. —KK
