This past weekend I stopped by Walmart to check out the latest spring fashions and snapped some photos of all the items I deemed worthy of sharing with you guys. I'm not going to pretend Walmart is a bastion of high fashion but with a discerning eye you can find some great pieces to add to your wardrobe on a really tight budget. I also realized while shopping that I was unintentionally wearing a Walmart t-shirt, jeans and boots that day, so clearly they're doing something right. I've had really good luck with their Faded Glory basics (long and short sleeve tees), their denim (Signature by Levi Strauss & Co. line is amazing - I learned about them prior to doing a sponsored post a while back and they remain my favorite jeans - and they're under $20!) and the Chelsea rain boots ($9.88) I picked up this past fall. My favorite plaid shirt is also from Walmart (and it's only $9! might have to pick up another color). The two knit cardigans I bought this past fall from Walmart were a big miss for me, but I think it's the color and style that didn't work for me. I was going for that oversized duster look and just ended up looking frumpy. And I couldn't get the olive cardigan to match anything in my wardrobe. Anyways, moving on to spring...

Highlights include crochet shorts ($12.92) for the young and leggy amongst us. You could style a simple off-white pair with a denim shirt and neutral sandals like this for a chic summer look.
I spotted some cool skinny jeans in colors like blush pink and gray but couldn't find my size - if your Walmart is as disorganized as mine, my advice is to shop online.
In the accessories department I fell in love with this oversized canvas print tote that reminded me of something Kate Spade Saturday might design. Scooped it up for $9.88. It'll be perfect for summer trips to the park and the beach.
Take a look at my photos and see if there's anything you like...have you shopped for spring clothes at Walmart this season?

They look like they run really small so I actually went up 2 sizes. I didn't try on in the store. No time. I also bought the yellow cardigan which fit perfectly in my size (small). There were some really cute Faded Glory dresses too. I picked up a black one that had the cutest eyelet type flounce on the top! Too cute to risk not finding it when warm weather returns to NY state.
