The Richard Chai for Target collection is now available in stores and online. I apologize for not posting a review but I'm leaving for my cruise on Saturday and still have so much to do beforehand. Anyways, so far, I've heard really good things--have you bought anything yet? What do you think of the collection? Which pieces stand out, which ones should we avoid? Spare no detail, ladies, let's hear it all in the comments!

I bought the geometric print racerback tank top in black, and I'm planning on going back for possibly one of the black dresses and the cobalt blue and gray satin miniskirt. The cuts are very structured and therefore look much more polished than other GO pieces I've seen. They are actually very flattering and can be worn together without looking deliberately overstyled and funky. I dig. I hope it's a sign of increasingly better collections.

I also have some photos of me in one of the dresses...

Just if you're interested.

the dress that ties in the front feels like its made of that parachute material. its an interesting cut though.
a big fan of the short shorts. the material is heavier and the tailoring is also interesting. if i didn't have the thunder thighs that prevent me from wearing any sort of shorts, i would have totally bought these.
the rest of the jersey pieces are overpriced. you can get similar things from target's junior brand xhilaration, or even forever21, for much cheaper for the same quality. gonna wait until the collection goes on clearance. couldn't wait for the blue dress, though. it's that good!

it's still a great place to shop where value for money is concerned, compared to the competition (4ever21 - great knockoffs but cheap cheap cheap in quality - way too much synthetics; kmart and wal-mart - nope, won't go there; or kohl's -
comparable in that you can get great buys for the money, but buyer beware.).
