Ok, so my first order from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Early Access 2017 arrived on Saturday. If you missed my Instagram Stories review and try-on, don't worry - I'll recap everything here. Here's what you need to know:
I'm keeping EVERYTHING (yay!) except the Vince Camuto ankle booties. These are absolutely gorgeous - the color, quality, detailing - but my heel keeps slipping up when I walk, rendering them useless. You can't really wear socks with this style, no matter how low-profile. I think going down a size will be too tight. And I don't want to worry about inserts. For that price, I just want the shoes to fit! I can do better. Back they go.
But I am so happy with everything else! All the cardigans are soft, lovely colors, and fit true to size (I'd say each one is already meant to be a bit oversized, so order your normal size. I went with a SMALL in each.) Shop the burgundy, ivory and camel cardigans - each under $50.
The Articles of Society jeans (under $40!) are also great - time will tell how they wash and wear, so I'm hoping the Nordstrom reviewers were right about these! I went down one size based on reviews and the jeans fit me well. A reader told me she found a pair at Nordstrom Rack, so you could check there, too!
The Kendra Scott necklace is really pretty and feels special. I wore it right away. It's a keeper! This would make a great gift, too. Comes in gold, silver or rose gold.
The Leith v-neck t-shirt is just okay but I already ripped the tag off and feel icky returning stuff after I do that, however, a reader pointed out to me that this shirt is DRY CLEAN ONLY. WHAAAT?! It's 50/50 cotton modal so I'm sure I can wash cold and lay flat to dry but who has time for dry cleaning a t-shirt? The more I think about it, the more inclined I am to return it...I can scoop up some nice Caslon tees instead. Also the Leith tee in white is semi sheer. Bleh. And yet, this tee gets such rave reviews. It's times like these when I wonder if Nordstrom shoppers have ever shopped elsewhere. You can get a better tee for less at Forever 21, people! But, can you get free shipping and free returns for like, ever...? No. Alrighty then, Nordstrom wins!
So that is it! I highly recommend the cardigans and jeans (these are very similar to the style I bought. They also have a dark oxblood red, black, and gray skinnies!). If you missed out on the leopard scarf, keep checking as they might restock it. Here's a similar scarf at Nordstrom for $30.
Early access ends July 20th! What have you purchased so far? Loved? Liked? Returned? Kept? Let me know!

Here's another outfit I'm planning for fall using the camel cardigan. The scarf is from last year's sale but here's a similar plaid scarf on sale this year (under $20). Bag is from T.J. Maxx last year.

BP Camel Cardigan is just $31.90 ($49 after sale) Also in black or beige.

Love this Dreamers by Debut Cardigan...also considering this pullover by the same brand.

Keeping these Hinge booties, they're perfect!

These are gorgeous but gotta go back.

Here's how I wore the Kendra Scott pendant on Sunday. Love it!
Below are the outfit collages I put together as I was shopping to get ideas...pin now and save for fall!

Help! Should I keep or do they go back?
