In fact, so many of the shoes are exact Steve Madden copies that I can't help but think that they're coming from the same company. The Steve Maddens are generally genuine leather while Target's budget options are synthetic materials.
Steve Madden already makes a kids shoe line for Target called Stevies.
Both brands are heavily influenced by Gucci right now, from the pearl embellishments to patchwork details on everything from shoes to backpacks.
