I bought a soft peplum tee for $12.99 (similar here) and almost bought the floral burnout kimono you see above (just $16.99) as well as a longline cargo vest (just $39.99).

There were definitely some duds, too. #notgonnalie. Floral tops that were made of cheap polyester, lots of weird sleeves and necklines happening, lots of too-short-in-the-torso tops, impossible-to-wear-with-a-regular-bra dresses and the like, but if you dig you'll find good stuff hidden among the racks.

I was actually more impressed with the denim selection this trip than I've ever been - I saw some awesome Levi's made of that classic thick denim, and brands like Paige, Hudson and Free People (wide leg crops just $29.99!) for way less than you'll find it anywhere else.

I have to take a moment to mention the gift I bought because it's something called Magic Tracks - my son was gifted this toy from his great grandmother on his recent 4th birthday and it was the breakaway hit! It's entertained him and his brother for hours, a rarity in this house. When I saw one at T.J.Maxx (priced less than Amazon!), I scooped it up immediately for his friend. Also picked up some books - Pete the Cat is popular right now with my kiddos!

Shoes are also on clearance but I didn't have time to browse on this trip. Hopefully I'll be back soon! I did spot some Rampage sandals for just $9.99 that look just like this Joie pair. So good.
