Get the Steve Madden Look for Less with Candie's at Kohl's

You can find the Steve Madden look for less under different labels.
Last week we marveled at how all the shoes at Target look like Steve Maddens; now I'm putting the spotlight on another source for Steve Madden lookalikes: Candie's at Kohl's.

I got as far as collaging 5 of my favorite dupes before Photoshop fatigue set in. There are probably many more copycats if you head to (the Candie's Cosmos, for example, looks identical to the Steve Madden Irenee, and so on...)

Steve Madden never fails to produce on-trend shoes that are generally good quality, and look really good in real life for the price.

But you can find the same exact styles produced under other brand names elsewhere, usually made with lower quality materials, for less money.

The moral of the story: We as consumers have options. If you want to try the furry pool slide trend, for example, you can get the look at Candie's for just under $20. Or better yet, don't try this trend at all! #lol

Row 1: Candie's Ruffle Slide (synthetic materials, 2 colors) vs. Steve Madden Getdown Leather Ruffle Slide (5 colors)

Row 2: Candie's Faux Fur Slide (3 colors) vs. Steve Madden Softey Slide (5 colors)

Row 3: Candie's Pom Pom Sneaker (2 colors) vs. Steve Madden Bryanne Sneakers (2 colors)

Row 4: Candie's Celebration Slides vs. Steve Madden Patches Slide

Row 5: Candie's Crater Velvet Sneakers (2 colors) vs. Steve Madden Bertie (2 colors)

but candies don't go higher than size 10!

You're right, I didn't notice that. Definitely a limitation. Steve Madden seems to go up to a size 12.

Great post, Dianna! Amazing how similar those leopard slides and Pom Pom sneakers are. Picked up the blush velvet sneakers dupe from for only $15... Can't wait to see if they work for me. Maybe I'll try those fuzzy pool slides next... J/K! #mustbetooold4those #houseslippers

Haha! It all depends on your style, I say go for it if you love them. I think the velvet sneakers are more versatile, should add some great texture to your look!
