Target has shared the lookbook for their newest fashion line, A New Day (or A.N.D.), which officially debuts August 27th.
Rendered on a cheerful millenial pink background, the lookbook photos showcase some of the apparel, shoes and accessories you can expect to see from the new collection. Prices range from $9.99 to $44.99, available in sizes 0–16, XS–XXL and select assortment in plus sizes, ranging from X–4X and 14W–26W in select stores and online.
I like the photo that's styled a la J.Crew with a statement sleeve top, leopard skinny belt, and rhinestone earrings. I don't fully understand the yellow pleated skirt with sporty crewneck tee but I'm wondering if I should be that girl? Should I try this unconventional combination?
I also like that they've shown ways to style pieces multiple ways, from work to the weekend.
What I don't like is the name of the new line (it's not very social media friendly, either) but I guess I can get over that in time.
As you've heard, A New Day is one of the dozen or so new brands that will be rolling out at Target in the coming months, replacing old stalwarts like Merona and Mossimo Men's. I can appreciate change. And I'd be lying if I said I was a "Merona" girl anyways - as much as I liked it, it was always a little too preppy for me. Mossimo was often a bit too "edgy" (clearly I'm not that cool lol). I always felt I fell somewhere in the middle of Merona and Mossimo, so maybe A New Day will be exactly what I've been looking for...we'll see!
Have you seen A New Day? Like what you're seeing?
August 25, 2017 update: According to Glamour.com, Target is only getting rid of the Men's Mossimo division.
