Target announced a new denim collection called Universal Thread, launching both in stores and online February 4. And we've got the lookbook!

Here's a bit more about the collection:

At its core, Universal Thread is feminine, modern and designed for all women. To ensure that there is a perfect fit for every body, Target’s design team worked with nearly 1,000 women of every shape, size and ethnicity to make sure the line offered amazing fit, quality and value. The denim in the assortment even features the latest technology, from no-fade black jeans to stain-repellent white jeans and more to guarantee above average value.

To make this brand truly inclusive, following in the footsteps of Target’s Cat & Jack kids’ apparel line, Universal Thread will also offer select sensory friendly and adaptive apparel items to help make getting dressed a little easier for people living with disabilities.

The assortment includes more than just denim. Look for signature wardrobe-staples like tees and tanks, accessories and jewelry, even shoes.

Universal Thread ranges in price from $5 to $39.99 and will be available in all Target stores and online at Target.com in early February.

My first thought was the branding is classic like Lucky Brand, while the message of inclusivity reminds me of Khloe Kardashian's denim collection, Good American. I'm excited to see what Target rolls out because aside from the maternity jeans (see my review), they have never been my go-to for denim.

I'm kind of excited for this. I've never liked Target's denim- most of it looks cute on the rack, but it fits weird (which obviously varies from person to person, but I've never found a style that worked for me there). Here's hoping they use a better quality of denim, too.

Thanks for the comment, Kara! I've had the same experience (except the maternity denim which I like a lot). Excited for the launch!
