Now’s the perfect time to stock up on one of my family’s favorite toothpastes, Crest Pro-Health! Check your Sunday paper to get a $2 coupon that can be used on a variety of Crest toothpaste products at Target.
Crest Pro-Health toothpaste helps you advance to healthier gums and stronger teeth with benefits that help protect against areas dentists check most.

While we’re talking toothpaste, I wanted to share a simple “snack hack” that’s good for your smile, too! Thanksgiving may be over but the treats will linger from now on well into the New Year, so it’s important to sneak in healthy fruits and veggies in addition to keeping up with daily brushing.
This is so embarrassingly simple that I can’t call it a recipe. But my kids clamor for it! They say it tastes like the apple slices you get in the kids’ meals at a popular global fast-food chain. Ahem.

Start by peeling an apple. I can peel an apple in one continuous loop which my kids think is pretty awesome (love this age!)

Next, slice your apple.

Then, toss with a bit of fresh lemon juice. That’s it! The lemon juice adds a little kick and keeps the apple slices from browning (which makes them great for packing for school lunches, too).

Try it - you’ll never eat apples any other way!
