This is great for many reasons but mainly because A.) I already shop a LOT on walmart.com as you guys know, and B.) I can now up my style-game by conveniently mixing those high-low pieces (and for me, "high" means $25 for a cable-knit sweater combined with my $17 Time and Tru skinny jeans! LOL)
Everything shipped super fast with free 2-day shipping ($35 minimum with qualifying items) - I got all my stuff Monday but haven't had a chance to try things on until now. So let's get started!!
First this cable knit sweater ($25) - fits TTS. Wearing size medium. Looks very luxe, love the texture! Perfect for holiday parties with a black skirt and black tights and black boots.
Next up this pink sweater, also fits TTS, wearing size medium. I was worried this would be too low cut based on how it looked on the model but it's not too low at all! Slightly oversized fit (intentionally designed this way) so you could go one size down for a more fitted look. But I plan on wearing with leggings! Maybe these velour ones (just $13!).
And these leopard mules, just $25, fit TTS, wearing size 9.5. Perfect party shoe! The toe is slippery on wood floors but the tiny heel is rubbery with good traction, just FYI.
And finally, this pom pom beanie by Steve Madden, just $15! Looks like designer ones that cost triple! Don't you just love wearing hats indoors?! I paired it with this Time and Tru striped top that's just $7.50 (remember when I shared this on my Instagram Stories a couple weeks back?! Couldn't resist ordering it online.) Wearing size Large in the top and probably should have gone with my usual Medium, fits TTS. But cute either way.
Ok and you're probably wondering about these awesome snow boots. Ob-sessed. These are not part of the Lord & Taylor sale but again, while shopping the sale I came across these and couldn't pass them up. Just $35! I wasn't expecting much but they've beyond exceeded my expectations. We'll see how these fare in New England snow and slush but what I can say is they are lightweight, very soft on the inside (you could wear barefoot), and very easy to tie because the laces stretch, so you just pull and tie - no need to fuss with the laces (you know what I'm talking about). I might order the brown, too! These look like designer boots I've been eying but couldn't justify at $200+. Fit TTS (I got my usual 9.5 and I can fit my winter socks.) I think they'd slip off had I gone up a half-size.
Finally, observant readers may be wondering about this $25 plaid wrap that I bought but did not model - this is the only item I'll be returning (or possibly gifting) because I got the wrong color. I accidentally selected gray instead of aubergine. It was late at night, what can I say. But there was only one product image which added to my confusion. That's the only issue I encountered in my whole experience. Lovely wrap but I really wanted to other color.
