Go-To Holiday Outfit Idea featuring Walmart sweater, pleated midi skirt and ankle booties

Today I'm getting a head start on holiday dressing with this foolproof outfit idea! I absolutely love the idea of a chunky sweater paired with a midi skirt and ankle booties. I've been seeing this look in different places and I love the elegance, simplicity and luxury of this combination. So, I decided to see if I could put it together on a major budget. Once again, Walmart came through with all the pieces you need to get this look under $60 total - head-to-toe!

While I'm calling this my go-to holiday look, I haven't actually tried the combination yet :-) BUT I did order the all-black and monochromatic blue looks you see pictured above. I wanted to share links now in case anything sells out. I'll post a try-on review once my items arrive later this week.

Don't forget you get free 2-day shipping on most orders of $35 or more at Walmart.com. It's the BEST!

Look one is probably the most versatile. You can't go wrong with all black. It's easy yet sophisticated and chic.

I also love the monochromatic look. In look three, on the far right, the colors are in the same family but aren't matchy-matchy. This elevates the entire look. I love the rich navy for the holiday season. And it's more subtle than traditional red or green.

Finally, the look in the middle, look two, is so fabulous with the mix of white and gold! You could wear this from Thanksgiving all the way through the New Year celebrations. Cozy, yet so fashionable. Have fun with accessories here!

I'll link up more of my favorites in the widgets below! Would you try this look?
