Plaid Pants Christmas Outfit Idea

Plaid pants and ankle boots for the holidays!
I love a good pair of plaid pants around the holidays! Add a cozy sweater, some ankle booties and perhaps a leopard clutch and you've got a festive look for any fête.

This pair by Time and Tru runs true to size (I got my usual 4) and costs just $14! To be honest these are a bit short for me unless I wear them with a taller boot (I'm 5'8" for reference). They are also stretchy and super tight - just keep that in mind!

I like a neutral sweater in black or ivory with a red plaid bottom, and this sweater ($23) by Time and Tru is adorable. Love the shoulder detail for a feminine touch. It's fitted and runs true to size, I got my usual small.

My exact cheetah clutch is past-season Mindy Mae's Market. This one at Red Dress Boutique is very similar and only $36.

I linked up a few more plaid pant options in the widget below as I'm on the hunt for that "perfect pair"! Hope the flatlay above inspires you!

I love this set! I love that you've mixed the leopard with the red plaid pants. I've seen those pants at WalMart and tried on a pair of 14's (I'd normally take a 10 but they were out of 10s and 12s). I thought I'd probably love them in the right size. And the Time & Tru boots - I love them and I think I'm going to order a pair in the burgundy (and maybe in the black, too). Thanks so much for putting this gorgeous set together!
