Today I wanted to share just how easy it is to eat wholesome, delicious meals on a budget with Walmart private grocery brands. Most of my cooking is dairy-free because of my daughter's allergies—and I like to buy organic when possible—and Walmart makes it easy for me to get all the different foods my family loves at a low price!

With Walmart I don't have to settle; I can get high-quality products and stretch my grocery budget by switching to Walmart private brands, including Great Value, Sam's Choice, Marketside, Freshness Guaranteed and Equate.

Here, I'm sharing one of our favorite snacks that incorporates some of our favorite Walmart finds, from frozen mixed berries, to oat milk, to organic flax seed and organic raw honey.

THE BEST DAIRY FREE SMOOTHIE

+ First add one 5.3 oz container coconut milk yogurt to your blender. Use the container to measure out the rest of the ingredients (this makes it easy for kids to do, too!)
+ One heaping container frozen fruit
+ One container oat milk
+ 1 tablespoon ground flax seed
+ Generous squeeze of honey

Blend until smooth, then garnish with fresh fruit. (My cups, straws and lounge-set are from Walmart, too!)

You can easily double or triple this recipe to make more; customize with different fruit (we love Walmart's tropical blend as well), different flavors of yogurt, or a protein shake instead of milk (we like Orgain Kids Plant-Based Shakes).

I've linked the exact ingredients in the carousel below. Start your online order here!
