Marshalls Shoe Megashop: What Say You?

A couple months ago, Marshalls began opening these separate shoe boutiques within their stores, affectionately called the Marshalls Shoe Megashops. I've made a few quick trips to the one near my house, and I must say, they have definitely stepped up their game. Yesterday, I spent a good hour just trying on fabulous heels and admiring how long and lean my legs look in 5-inch heels, haha. Too bad I can barely walk in them.

Anyways, they had a great selection of party-worthy pumps by Jessica Simpson, Guess by Marciano, BCBGirls, Tahari, Nine West, Delman, Steve Madden, NYLA, and many more. The aisles were fairly clean and wide, there were plenty of mirrors, well-stocked boxes of nylon footies and places to sit. On this particular trip, I wasn't looking for anything in particular so I left the store empty handed, but I'll definitely be back again soon.

It's a bit premature to definitively vote or "yea" or "nay" on this latest venture from Marshalls, but I'd love to get your feedback. Have you been to a Shoe Megashop near you? Did you find any great deals?

I agree, they were so cute, really flattering shape to them, but too stiff and not well-balanced. It was tempting because of the price, but I'm going to hold out for a comfier pair :-)

I like all of them. I love marshalls. I went to my local marshalls and all I saw was a lot of black shoes. I wish they would introduce some "color" into their mega shoe shop. I don't need anymore black shoes.

I love the Marshall's Mega Shoe Stores. I used to work about 5 minutes from one and it provided me with much needed mid-day retail therapy on several instances. I scored two pairs of Nine West heels on clearance for $20 along with many other pairs of shoes!

I love the Shoe MegaShop. At my local store, the shoe section used to be so cluttered and unorganized. But since they turned it into the Shoe Megashop, it's a lot more easier to shop.

A couple of the Marshall's I go to don't have megashops, but they do have great shoe departments. I scored an amazing pair of black suede pointy-toe 4-inch Via Spiga stilettos for $24.99, and they weren't even on sale! I love going there to see what I can find.

Yes! I love Marshalls Shoe MegaShop - I found a pair of purple Frye 'Nora' boots for just $99 (usually $280) on my most recent trip! They were the last pair in the store, and I snatched them up!

There's a Shoe Megashop at my local Marshalls, and has been for ages ... but I've gotta say that, as is the case for the clothes, the brand selection out here in the Midwest pales in comparison to what's available out east.

Hmmm ... this one's a bit hard for me. Most of the time it's a "nay" because our local one seems to stock mainly very high heels that I can't wear, but the one in the neighboring town has a wider selection of all kinds of heel heights, where I bought a pair of Report Mary Janes.

But, now that I think about it, overall it would be a "nay" for me because the prices aren't that great at our local shoe mega-shops.

Know just what you mean - try them on and wonder if you can get away by just standing in them and not walking. Perhaps someone could pick you up and carry you around town? That's what I want for Xmas - then I could wear those high shoes!!

Thank you for using Peds® when trying on the shoes. Good hygiene is both fashionable and smart. :-)
