Ski-Lodge Chic: Kendra Wilkinson's Olive Parka and Plaid Shirt Look for Less

Kendra Wilkinson's plaid shirt and olive parka look for less
As celebs descended on Utah's Salt Lake City International Airport for the Sundance Film Festival, this outfit seen on Kendra Wilkinson caught my eye because it's totally something I would wear on a chilly New England winter day, too. Just layer a plaid shirt (ours is just $7 at Walmart) with an olive, fur trim parka for warmth. Then add all black extras for some edge, like skinny jeans and ankle boots. Also not seen in this photo is Kendra's stylish backpack, the current carrier of choice whether you're traveling far or staying close to home...and we found the perfect look for less at Tar-jay (looks great in real life, too!) Read on for the links after the jump...

Off the Rack: French Bull Luggage Collection for Target

French Bull NYC Luggage Collection at Target
During my last trip to Target, an endcap of brightly colored bags caught my eye by French Bull (@frenchbullnyc on Instagram). I wasn't familiar with this company, but here's what the Target website says: "Founded by Jackie Shapiro in 2002, French Bull is an inspired brand that elevates the ordinary to the extraordinary. French Bull’s mastery of pattern and color has enhanced a wide variety of everyday products. From the home to the street, French Bull’s iconic look and signature designs offer a sense of individualism, excitement, and pop. Live VIVID!" Judging by the prices for these bags ($129.99 for the 21" spinner luggage in Jet Set print), the quality must be better than usual. The overnight bag is $49.99 while the travel tote is just $39.99. If you're looking for a unique bag to add some color and personality to your travel style, check these out. There's even a super fun chevron diaper bag. My Missoni for Target suitcase is still in excellent condition after quite a bit of use - which is great - but sadly gives me no excuse to buy a new one. Few more pics after the jump...anyone scoop one of these beauties up?

The Who What Wear for Target Look Book is A Big Yawn

Who What Wear for Target lookbook
Maybe I'm sleep deprived but I just found the Who What Wear lookbook in my inbox and it's one big snooze-fest. I love Who What Wear co-founders Hillary Kerr and Katherine Power (I've followed them since I began blogging way back in the Stone Age) and I see they put a lot of thought into the collection - aiming to include the perfect trench, edgy moto jacket, and essential striped tee for their diehard fashionista fans - but the end result feels uninspired and lackluster. These aren't perfect basics nor are they eye-catching statement pieces. The prices, however, are certainly right, ranging from $14.99 to $49.99, and this is just the first of many installments to come. You can find the debut spring line at select Target stores and on Target.com starting Jan. 31 followed by new Who What Wear styles to be released the first week of every month. If you handpick the best pieces from each collection (such as the trench vest or mod blue moto jacket) I'm thinking this could turn into a very exciting new reason to shop at Target (as if we needed any more excuses). Browse all the looks below and tell me what you think.

Spot the Real: Max Studio Oxblood Tank Top

Fab find: Target burnout tank top
We all need going out tops, those better-than-basic tanks, tees and shirts that can be worn with jeans and heels for an instant dressy look. Here's a keeper: It's a velvet burnout tank top by Mossimo that comes in cabernet red or black and sells for just $22.99 at target.com. In case you needed extra persuasion, it looks a lot like a top by Max Studio which costs twice as much. How's that for validation? See if you can spot the real from the steal by clicking a link below!
