Some of you may know that I'm on the hunt for the perfect BB Cream - those all-in-one wonders that claim to moisturize and perfect skin for a flawless look. BB stands for "beauty balm" or "blemish balm" and the trend originated in Korea a couple years ago. Now every beauty brand under the sun has jumped on the BB cream bandwagon - and some brands have already moved on to CC and DD creams. Phew! I'd better find one that works before ZZ cream comes out. But I digress...previously, I tested Aveeno's BB Cream and wasn't too impressed. Many of you shared your recommendations with me in the comments - and I am so grateful - but have yet to put most of those to the test (it's on my to-do list!) Target is back in the wedding game, having just launched an in-house collection of 4 wedding gowns, 10 bridesmaid dresses, two flower girl frocks and two ring bearer ensembles, ranging in price from $29.99 to $129.99 exclusively on Target.com. Note that I said "back in the game" because some of you may recall Target's first foray into bridalwear was in 2007 when they teamed with Isaac Mizrahi on a cheap-chic bridal gown collection (here).

The new Target wedding gown collection is called Tevolio (loosely translated from the Italian phrase for "I love you") and features classic, simple styles in ivory or white, like a satin cowlneck gown ($99.99) or a v-neck ruched gown ($129.99)



For bridesmaids, highlights include a strapless chiffon maxi ($69.99) or flirty short chiffon dress with a flattering sweetheart neckline, both available in ten on-trend colors in sizes 2 - 28W.

I think the bridesmaid dresses are especially tempting because of the range of styles, sizes and colors. The only downside is that Target's bridal collection is only available online at Target.com, but shoppers can return anything that doesn't fit as long as they adhere to the retailer's return policy.

My last trip to Target made me feel woefully unprepared for summer - racks were filled with swimsuits, skimpy dresses, and short shorts, while the shoe department was all about sandals, flip-flops and espadrilles. There's no point in me buying much of anything right now because I'm into my 37th week of pregnancy and even my shoes don't fit at this point, but that doesn't mean I can't look. The hi-lo frocks, ombre tees and palm-tree print shorts were calling my name. But what did I actually buy? The very last pair of Paka boots on clearance for $10.88, a set of ombre curtain panels for the nursery (and I used a 15% off Threshold drapery coupon via cartwheel.target.com), plus some paper lanterns from the dollar bins, also for the nursery. All in all, a good mini-haul.
