By now you've surely noticed that Target has given their One Spot a makeover, reorganizing the aisles, making it a bit bigger, and renaming it "Bullseye's Playground." My son was the first to notice the giant displays atop each shelf featuring Bullseye, Target's canine mascot, wriggling inside gift boxes. As Target reports on their blog, Bullseye's Playground will be a bit pricier, with items ranging from $1 to $5. Displays will update every 8 weeks around "holidays, seasonal mindset and kids." I don't love the price increases but I appreciate the fact that I can fit a cart around the aisle. On the other hand, the closed layout was better for containing my two-year old. Now if he wants to pick out toys, I have to chase him around in circles! It's the little things, right? Read on to see more pics I snapped at two Target locations near me. Back in October we reported that duck boots would be back in a big way this winter (SheFinds noted that L.L.Bean's iconic duck boots were already backordered as of the end of September). I used to check gilt.com almost daily to see what new designer goodies they had on sale, but as time has passed, I've moved away from shopping limited-time only sales sites because they've grown too big, offer fewer actual deals, and no longer have that feeling of exclusivity. Having said that, I happened to be browsing gilt.com earlier this week to see if they had any good deals on baby gear...when I spotted a Louis Vuitton Speedy hand painted with palm leaves, and was instantly reminded of a bag I had seen at anthropologie.com. (Great story, right?) Both have a strikingly similar palm leaf design with vastly different price tags. If you love the look of the LV, you'll have to check out the budget dupe!
