Polished in Pumps: Kate Beckinsale's Silk Trouser and Fuchsia Heels Look for Less

Kate Beckinsale Look for Less
As the holiday season rolls around, I love incorporating anything eye-catching: Metallics, sparkle and luscious fabrics like cashmere and silks. These are great for holiday parties and get-togethers, but for daytime wear and around the office it's easy to pare it down to one or two statement pieces and be able to layer pieces on top. Kate Beckinsale definitely nailed that balanced look with this outfit. Styling a silky white blouse with champagne satin trousers, a playful Burberry Heart Jacquard Poncho ($1150), black sunglasses and a touch of pink with her pumps, Kate looks radiant and effortlessly luxe. I'm especially obsessing over her rich wool poncho - the hearts are to die for, but the price is beyond my price range. Lucky for you readers I've found a similar two-toned cape from House of Fraser and it's absolutely perfect for chilly weather. Read on to steal Kate's style for a fraction of the cost...

Spot the Real: Burberry Check Scarf

Burberry check scarf: Can you spot the real one?
Burberry's lightweight gauze scarf (wool/silk blend) is $395 at It's a classic, iconic plaid that never really goes out of style. I recently purchased my own "look for less" scarf at a small specialty boutique in Cape Cod because I was totally caught off guard by the typhoon-like weather. Sure, I expected rain and packed accordingly (sweaters, boots, trench) but thought, meh, I won't need a scarf, too. Boy was I wrong! Brrrr. So in a moment of desperation, I splurged on a Burberry-esque scarf ($28 is a splurge for me LOL! But I consider it a souvenir from our vacay, too). Anyways, I've spotted a great dupe for $25 elsewhere. See if you can spot it by clicking a link below!

P.S. You can find these on, too, like this one for just $7.25.
