You should be careful in buying cosmetics from discount stores. You have no idea if they are expired or counterfeit.

Hey Cassie, You're totally right that it's really important to know who you're buying from, especially on the web. That's why I am highly selective about the stores I recommend. This particular site came recommended from a trusted friend who personally knows the owner.

Also, here's some info about how Beauty Ticket is able to offer such great deals (from their About Us page): "When beauty companies need to clear space for new promotions, seasonal items, new packaging, etc. we purchase the surplus and pass the savings along to you."

Hope this helps. Thanks to everyone for sharing your shopping experiences with this site in the comments! :-)

bought some stila and smashbox from them last thursday. super happy with my stuff. and everything was packed in this cute pink crinkle paper (instead of bubble wrap or foam peanuts).

i agree with cassie. be careful where you buy from. but this compnay seems legit. i think you just have to do your homework (like buying from overseas, ebay or ioffer.com)

Awesome. Need to update my makeup kit.

I bought a mystery bag with my order. It had a Too Faced lipgloss, Trucco eyeliner, Trucco lipstick, Sue Devitt pressed powder, and a Delux Beauty lipgloss. One of them was missing a box and one had a slightly warped outer box, but the product was in mint condition. I accidentally ordered the medium kit, so I can't used the powder. Oh well :-)

I've ordered from them before, and the site appears to be legit. I used PayPal just to be safe, and my items always come nicely packed.

Amazing - and they take paypal? Uh oh, there goes more of my money. But in a great, discounted way!

pretty sure sites have to verify where they get their merchandise in order to get merchant accounts (like visa, mastercard, etc.) so, you can probably trust them.

I just went China Glaze crazy. I can't wait for it to arrive. I got the Mineral Set, Color Club Set, Love and Color sets in creme and shimmer, and the recycle and shower combo. Also purchased the Smashbox Makeup Brush #15 and the Delux Beauty Lip Tint Stick in "Bubbles".

I bought a mystery bag with my order. It had a Trucco pressed powder, two Trucco eyeshadows, Trucco lipstick, and a Delux Beauty lipgloss/liquid blush. The stuff is ok. The Delux Beauty stuff looked old. It also wasn't really over a $100 value if you add up the retail. A little disapponting :-( I also ordered 4 Smashbox bronzing primers and I only recieved 1. I sent an email hopefully I will get a response since there is also no phone number listed. Other than that everything else I order was a great deal!

Hi Genine,

Sorry about your experience! We over-nighted the 3 additional products and a free Smashbox lipgloss (to let you know how sorry we are!)

Please email us at [email protected] if you have any additional questions or comments.

Thanks!

What a FAB site, and such great steals! I ordered several items, and was very happy with each one; they were all unopened, and in pristine condition. Also, regular shipping was super-fast; I received all of my items after 2 days of placing the order. Would def. recommend...

P.S.

I ordered the Mirenesse Power Lift set, and so far, I likes it! I haven't tried the cleanser yet, but the eye and face cream feels very silky on my skin. The tubes are small--1 to 2 ounces, but really, still a deal, right?

And, I also scored a very lovely Smashbox blush and Delux lipstick. I LOVE the lipstick...not sticky at all, but very creamy and luxurious-feeling.

Hi Minday,

We are terribly sorry that you had a bad experience. Apparently there is an issue with the shipping drop down menu for people using MAC computers. We have since remedied this problem as a result of your experience.

As far as shipping, your package went out Express Mail via the US Postal Office the same day you placed the order. (It was checked in at 2:30 pm by the West Hollywood post office.) Unfortunately, the package was held up there (although we're not sure why -- the post office has not explained) which is why you did not receive it the following morning.

We refunded your shipping costs to make up for the series of errors and hope you understand that this is NOT a typical BeautyTicket transaction. Again, we are terribly sorry. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do.

Best,

JC @ beautyticket.com
