Get Katy Perry's MTV Video Music Awards Nail Look

If you're into nail art or looking for something wild for Halloween, you might be interested to know that Katy Perry wore Broadway 2-Step Natural Nails at the MTV Video Music Awards. Why is this so interesting?! Because Broadway 2-Step Nails are just $4.49 and you can easily create your own look at home!

For Katy, celebrity manicurist Kimmie Kyees applied Broadway 2-Step nails as a base underneath her favorite design/polish. In lieu of glue, Kyees secured the nails to Katy using the Kiss Mega Hold Tabs – a short-term alternative to nail glue. Katy wore her 2-Step Nails adorned with head-and-body decals of husband Russell Brand - which I don't recommend you do, because that would be weird, but I'm sure you can come up with your own fabulous designs!

Broadway 2-Step Nail Kit is available at www.beautyonlinesupply.com for $4.49
Kiss Mega Hold Tabs are available at Walgreens and www.beautyonlinesupply.com for $1.99

Off the Rack: Sally Hansen Limited-Edition Nail Polish Shades for Fall

During my recent roadtrip to Nova Scotia, I stopped at a drugstore for some supplies and couldn't help but notice that Sally Hansen has released some amazing limited-edition nail polish shades for fall. I haven't tested any yet but I'm already a fan of Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure, the quality is remarkable. The tough part will be picking just one, I'm loving the whole fall lineup from sultry rich purples to those superchic neutrals. At this particular drugstore, the Complete Salon Manicure was priced at $7.59 per bottle; the Diamond Strength was $4.98.

What nail polish color are you craving for fall? Better yet, what color are you wearing right now?

Beauty Review: New Reach By Design Collection Toothbrushes

Recently I received three complimentary REACH by Design toothbrushes (approx. $3.99 each), which are part of a new limited-edition series of brushes created with fun patterns curated by interior designers Tom Delavan and Celerie Kemble and celebrity stylist Brad Goreski. Hey, if Christian Siriano is designing sponges, why not enlist Brad of The Rachel Zoe Project fame to design a toothbrush?! Sounds like good, clean fun to me—but are these toothbrushes really bananas or not? Keep reading to find out…

Beauty Review: Corioliss "The Wand" Ceramic Curling Iron from Misikko.com

Back in August, I got an email from Misikko asking if I would like to review one of their super high performance curling irons. Misikko is a "family run business" that sells pro-quality flat irons, hair dryers and other hair accessories. I took it as a sign because I've been dying to try a curling iron (haven't used one since I was a little girl), so I readily agreed and within 2 or 3 days, I received my complimentary Corioliss "The Wand" 18mm Tourmaline Ceramic Curling Iron ($99.99) in the mail. I wasn't feeling all that confident in my styling abilities but I gave it a try—and the results were shocking!

Beauty Review: JASON Citrus Satin Shower Body Wash

Recently I received a complimentary bottle of JASON Citrus Satin Shower Body Wash (approx. $13.79, 30 fl oz), which I have been using on and off for the past couple of weeks. While I had seen JASON brand products before at my local natural foods store, I was never particularly inspired to actually try it, perhaps because of the name (sounds silly and petty but "Jason" just doesn't pull me in) or because I had never heard anything about it from friends or fellow bloggers (a more likely explanation). Nonetheless, I was eager to give it a try because it's a made-in-the-USA, natural, organic option that's readily available and relatively affordable. If you've been curious about JASON products, keep reading to find out how their bodywash worked for me!
