Yesterday I checked my local Target to see if they had anything left from the Mulberry for Target handbag collection which is available now in stores and, last time I checked, nearly entirely sold out online. The large black satchel looked surprisingly good in person but $49? Really? I just couldn't justify buying another black purse for that price. The pink leopard print bag was delightful and I was really tempted to buy it but I just couldn't do it. I had to put aside the fact that it remotely connected to the Mulberry brand and admit to myself that it looked cheap. If the quality had just been moderately better, I would have jumped on that bag. I think these bags could certainly add fun to many outfits but when money's tight, these don't make me reach for my wallet.

During my recent roadtrip to Nova Scotia, I stopped at a drugstore for some supplies and couldn't help but notice that Sally Hansen has released some amazing limited-edition nail polish shades for fall. I haven't tested any yet but I'm already a fan of Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure, the quality is remarkable. The tough part will be picking just one, I'm loving the whole fall lineup from sultry rich purples to those superchic neutrals. At this particular drugstore, the Complete Salon Manicure was priced at $7.59 per bottle; the Diamond Strength was $4.98.

What nail polish color are you craving for fall? Better yet, what color are you wearing right now?

Back in June, I got a sneak peek at the Joss Stone Nine West Vintage America Fall 2010 Collection, and now I was treated to a complimentary pair of sky-high platform booties from the line. The "Ohsojoss" ankle boot infuses Joss's personal inspirations (like her flower tattoo) and whimsical style with authentic charm and craftsmanship. I think they're the perfect blend of rugged and sexy which is right on trend for fall. They are quite comfortable but the platform takes some getting used to. More Nine West...

Last night JCPenney celebrated the official launch of their new MNG by Mango fashion line with a star-studded bash in New York City. I wasn't able to make it into the city for the event, but my friends at JCP shared some photos from the fashion show that you can see here. My nearest JCPenney store that actually carries this line in the one in Manhattan, a two-hour train ride away, so I was really bummed to miss the party because I was really looking forward to actually seeing these clothes up close. Oh well, next time! The leopard coat looks so luxe and I'm loving the fur vest (above) too. Not sure if I will be sporting shorts for fall but I might warm up to this trend as time goes by.
