Earlier I shared some photos of celebrities wearing Thakoon for Kohl's, now here's my review complete with dressing room selfies! In many ways I have no business commenting on fit seeing as how I'm 30 weeks pregnant, but I can still comment on the styling and quality. Surprisingly many of the pieces were very flattering as "maternity" tops - I'm not sure that's the kind of endorsement DesigNation is looking for but it's true.

The Thakoon for Kohl's collection launched September 10, and this weekend I had a chance to try on some pieces at my local store. I'll be posting my review later today but first, I wanted to share these celebrity images to give you an idea of how the pieces can be styled. Fashion requires imagination, and had you simply seen these piece online or on a rack, you might not give them a second look. But on the likes of Olivia Palermo, Kate Bosworth and Hilary Rhoda, they definitely take on a new level of chic! Read on to see all three looks - who do you think wore Thakoon for Kohl's best?

Today I popped into Walmart to see if they had any good toddler shoes for fall when my toddler fell asleep in the stroller. These stroller naps are starting to get very expensive because when baby sleeps, mama will shop. And shop. And shop! Someone stop me (or help me time these naps better, one or the other). I stumbled upon these amazing ponchos (shawls/ruanas/whatever-they're-called) for just $13.97 and ended up buying both of the plaid ones (here and here).

…And we’re back! I’m glad to be back with this week’s capsule wardrobe after a two-week hiatus. I hope all my capsulistas were as thrilled with this past week’s four-day work week as I was. To get you excited about this week’s 5-day week, I have a really great set of outfits for you. I may or may not have been inspired by a certain country pop-star turned ruler of the universe and her #girlsquad. It’s really too soon to tell. Without naming names, I decided that every day of this week will be inspired by one member of that alleged squad (giving us all #squadgoals).
