Fab Find: Oversized Wrap Poncho for $14 at Walmart

Plaid shawls at Walmart?! So cute
Today I popped into Walmart to see if they had any good toddler shoes for fall when my toddler fell asleep in the stroller. These stroller naps are starting to get very expensive because when baby sleeps, mama will shop. And shop. And shop! Someone stop me (or help me time these naps better, one or the other). I stumbled upon these amazing ponchos (shawls/ruanas/whatever-they're-called) for just $13.97 and ended up buying both of the plaid ones (here and here).

They also come in solids like black, ivory and burgundy. I tossed one on in the store and it felt really soft and cozy. My plan is to belt it, pair it with leggings and boots and call it a day (kinda like this). I think I can use these while nursing, too, when baby two arrives at the end of November.

I posted this find on Instagram earlier and @jeh3v pointed out that if you cut out the tag on the geometric print one, it's reversible. I'm thinking you can even fold these and wear them as chunky blanket scarves with a little strategic tying!

Shop these ponchos here!

Wal-Mart seems to be stepping up their game. Looks like they may be realizing Target's stiff competition. I may pop into my local Wal-Mart this coming weekend to see if they have these stocked. Thanks for the post!

Follow Up: I finally got to Wal-Mart today. I looked all through Ladies and Juniors and couldn't find them. Then just as I was ready to give up - I found them - IN THE PAJAMA SECTION! Anyway, I ended up picking up the grey and white patterned one as well as a brown and tan patterned one. I tried the burgundy solid, but it just didn't look right on me. Now I can't wait for the weather to cool off.

What?! Haha I'm glad you found them, Walmart's fashion departments are definitely disorganized. I found mine in accessories between handbags/hats and scarves. Just glad you found them! :-)

This is what you call a bargain! And right up in my alley too. Looks like I will be making a stop tomorrow at my local Wal-Mart after work. Love your two selections miss D.

I recently bought one of these from H&M and one from F21. They don't look flattering just throwing them over your shoulders, but I tried belting and thought "this is so chic!"
