13 Organic Beauty Brands We Spotted at TJ Maxx (and you might too!)

Have you noticed that T.J.Maxx has been adding more and more organic beauty brands to the mix? I've definitely noticed this trend at my stores and I couldn't be happier. Organic beauty products can often cost more than their non-organic counterparts and their effectiveness can be hit or miss (think natural deodorant). Luckily when I find a brand I'm curious to try - or already know and love - and it's a few dollars less at T.J.Maxx than elsewhere, I'm happy to scoop it up! On this trip I picked up Avalon Organics Tea Tree Mint Therapy Shampoo and Conditioner (my husband loves this stuff, too) and EO spray deodorant (in my extensive experience with natural deodorants, the sprays work best. I love the scent of this one and you can reapply as often as you need, which is actually really nice and refreshing in the summer!)

Kudos on encouraging us to get organic personal care products but I gotta set the records straight. Only products that have the USDA seal are considered organic, and by the looks of the ohotos only one of them has that seal. The rest allthough they have names with the words 'organics' or 'natural' are not considered organic.

Thank you for the important clarification. A better descriptor might have been "natural" which is admittedly vague but doesn't imply the product is certified organic. I've researched all these brands and while they may not achieve USDA organic certification, they're free of harsh chemicals and it's not just word-play on their part, which is definitely what a lot of brands do to get on the organic/natural beauty bandwagon. You definitely have to read your labels carefully to know what you're buying!
