You guys. I went to Walmart yesterday and grabbed a bunch of new pieces for fall! I just couldn't resist. Everything from the new Time and Tru line is so affordable, good quality, and easy to mix-and-match.
For reference, I'm about 5'8", 140 lbs. I'm normally between a size small and medium depending on the cut (since I'm on the taller side), and a size 6 in jeans.
Here's what I grabbed on this trip. Catch up with my earlier Walmart fall try-ons HERE and HERE.
When I shop, I try to imagine exactly where I'll wear each piece so I end up with things I really wear, not just things that look pretty hanging in my closet.
So for me that means the morning bus stop drop off. Story hour at the library. Playdates. Walks. What's warm and comfortable and pulled-together? That's where this zip-front pullover ($19.96, wearing size Medium) comes in! I grabbed the versatile beige color. Perfect for layering with long sleeve tees or plaid button-downs.

Also looks nice with a Stripe Boatneck Top ($9.94) size Medium. Runs a bit small. Just a great essential. Also comes in a mustard/white stripe!

Let's back up and talk about these Skinny Jeans ($16.87) for a second. I really wanted them to work but my normal size, size 6, was way too tight. Just hard to pull up and very hard to get off (can't stand that with jeans! LOL). These are going back, it's a shame because I love the color and distressing! Maybe I'll try the size 8. But my Wit & Wisdom jeans are so soft and comfy that I doubt I'll want to reach for anything else.

Next up, this Lightweight Anorak ($22.96) also in Plus-Size. I got the size Small as that was the only one left in stock but now I'm thinking I need the medium if I want to layer it over sweaters. Comes in a great olive green color, too! I'll have to report back on the warmth and waterproof-factor so please follow me on Instagram - I'll post updates and more Walmart finds there! But so far, I think this jacket will be fine for weather that dips into the low 50s, upper 40s.

Okay I finally found these Peplum Tops ($9.96) in my size, size Small. So cute and feminine! Of course they're sold out online but just check your store! Or get this one instead! Mine had a lot left, tucked behind some other shirts.

Super cute with the purple anorak:

Also looks adorable with a green utility jacket! Mine is from Nordstrom purchased during the Anniversary sale but this Walmart Utility Jacket will give you a similar look, or this one at H&M)

And yes, that's a different floral print! I may have purchased two! I can wear these on Sunday when we go to church, or maybe a mom's night out, or a little date night (which really means grabbing pizza or something with the whole fam! LOL) This top is super similar and comes in lots of pretty colors/prints.

Everyone needs plaid shirts for fall! Walmart has a bunch under $15. I grabbed this pink one ($13.94) on this trip (sold out online but check stores):

I looks great layered with one of these cozy vests. Wearing size Large (runs a bit small) These are out of stock online and disappearing fast in stores. I wish they had a neutral tan/off-white color but gray was the next best thing.

The vest also looks cute with the striped top - it's a no-brainer, just throw it on and go!

I know I'll get questions about my boots, sorry to say they are NOT from Walmart - mine are these ones from Nordstrom - but these Walmart Ankle Boots ($17.97) or Wedge Booties ($19.87) would give you a similar look!
Quick note on JEWELRY: I'm wearing $2 earrings from Walmart in all these selfies! No, I don't wear dangly earrings with the kids but I know you guys do, and I wanted to look cute for ya'll. Definitely check out the accessories from Time and Tru on your next Walmart run. Most earrings and necklaces were between $2.88 and $5.88!! Lots of Madewell and Kendra Scott vibes.
I get so many positive messages from you guys regarding my Walmart runs so that's why I do it! Hope you've enjoyed, got some good ideas and you're ready for fall! Thanks for reading!
Pin it for later!
