Last week in this post I shared my go-to holiday look, and today I wanted to share how the pieces look in real life. Good news: They're even better in person! I absolutely can not recommend this $16 pleated skirt and this $12 mockneck sweater combo enough. Pair with tights and ankle boots - maybe a pretty piece of jewelry or bright lip - and you'll be ready for all holiday occasions!
Size wise, I'm wearing my usual small in the skirt and a medium in the sweater for a slightly oversized look on top. Both fit TTS.
In the boots, I went up to a 10 from my usual 9.5 (no half sizes online) and they fit great. Very comfortable. Here's the link to the high-heel knit booties and here's the link to the flat Chelsea boot.
I bought the black and black combo for a timeless look. Black always looks more expensive. The skirt is actually more of a pleather material which was a pleasant surprise, but if you're looking for another fabric, just be aware.

I also love a monochromatic look. It's another easy way to elevate a look. Don't get too matchy. These two shades of sapphire blue look lovely together.

I added a bright matte lip to finish the look.

You could also do a neutral lip...

So many ways to style this skirt! How about a leopard tee...

Or go all-out Christmas cheer with a plaid top! Find one that's fitted and do a tuck or tie...

Don't forget, free shipping and free returns on most orders of $35 or more at walmart.com. Walmart Fashion is killing it lately!
