Many women pay top dollar for professional anti-aging facials (at very pricey world class spas), but what if you could have the same results at home for a fraction of the cost? That’s what Avon promises with their line of Anew Rejuvenating facial treatments. We were eager to try out their products, and found them to be really very pleasing.
Avon says that in just seven days the Anew Rejuvenate Night Revitalizing Cream "reduces fine lines and visible pore size, smoothes texture and evens skin tone." In just two weeks it dramatically reduces the look of fine wrinkles, and over time visibly improves tone, texture and clarity.
The Anew Rejuvenate Flash Facial claims it "instantly cools skin; and texture, tone and the look of pores are visibly improved." They say it visibly blurs imperfections. And in one week it begins to fill in the look of fine lines. Skin tone appears more even; pores seem to vanish. And in just two weeks skin looks younger and fresher.
Whew!!! That’s a tall order! Here at the Budget Babe we also wondered what benefits these products would have for different generations (myself being in the younger group more concerned with prevention and keeping my skin healthy). I tested this product as a younger consumer hoping to benefit from the even texture, pore minimization and hydration, while my associate (aka my Mom) tested the product for its anti-aging benefits, including fine line reduction and tone and texture improvement.
How would this product treat both young sensitive skin and delicate mature skin? We decided it did a great job. Our mature tester did feel as if though her skin felt and looked younger after continued use, and agreed that both the Flash Facial and Night Revitalizing Cream started to make a big difference in her skin within just a week like Avon promises. We both agreed that the products were gentle and didn’t irritate our skin, and both felt as if though out skins’ texture and tone were improved.
I found myself wearing less makeup after using this product for a couple of weeks, and my pores seemed to disappear. Not only did it not irritate my skin, but it also didn’t cause me to break out. I used both products day and night and never got one pimple. Pretty amazing. We both also agreed that the Flash Facial is a fantastic base for makeup and creates a soft smooth surface to work on.
While these products may seem pricey at first glance, its best to keep in mind that this is the budget alternative to a spa treatment, and considering how long these products will last you in the long run they really are much cheaper then weekly anti-aging spa treatments. I know at least one friend of mine will be happy to hear that while she must give up her spa trips (the hubby isn’t too keen on the pricey beauty treatments during these economic times) she doesn’t have to go cold turkey and instead can bring the spa home with Avon.

In response to your question, we found that the Night Revitalizing Cream went on very smoothly and absorbed really beautifully into the skin without leaving any oily or greasy feeling. It felt light and hydrating, we really liked the way it felt!
