Boyfriend jeans are one of the most versatile fashion pieces this season! The great thing about boyfriend jeans is that you really only need one pair. They are such a simple, basic piece that anyone can make their own. I'm starting with this pair from H&M ($39.95) to show you 3 different outfits you can try this spring!
I don’t know about you, but one of my favorite parts about spring is being able to give my tootsies a break from the confinement of my boots or sneakers—ah, foot freedom! You could dig out last season's styles from the back of your closet, but updating your collection is an even smarter idea with so many amazing trends this season, which I've thoughtfully rounded up just for you. Give our list of top picks a peek and let them inspire your next purchase...okay, let’s be honest, it’ll end up being purchases.
In my 'Decorate by Number' series, I'm showing you how to achieve the chic decor you see on the pages of magazines and on Pinterest, piece by piece - and all on a budget! This week, we're recreating a stylish traditional entryway with subtle shades of pink. Check out the inspiration photo above, then read on as I show you how to get the look for less in your home!
The entryway in a home is often overlooked as it is not a space in which we spend a lot of time. Generally speaking, we just drop off or pick up our stuff as we head in and out of the house. Despite its lackluster reputation, I think an entryway is an important space that needs a degree of attention and inspiration. It is the first thing that greets us after a long day’s work and errands. Don’t you want to be greeted in a welcoming and happy space? I sure do! As for guests, it is the first impression of your home as soon as they walk through the front door. As you know, a first impression lasts a long time so make it a good one. Fortunately, decorating a positively presentable entryway can be achieved on a budget.
Earlier this week, Target hosted an event showcasing the Pixi by Petra Spring 2014 collection, which is available in stores and online now. I got to meet Petra Strand (above), creator and the brains behind the beauty brand, and her team. They gave me a personal tour through this charming collection and really sold me on, well, all of it. Everything is easy and anyone can use it, which when it comes to makeup, and especially for someone on the go, is a must. One of my favorite items was the brow duo, which has a retractable brow pencil on one side and brow gel on the other. I also love the cheek sheens! You can achieve all kind of looks with Pixi's offerings, the packaging is adorable and best of all, everything is affordable!
Which items are you excited about trying?
