We've been taking turns here on the blog sharing our summer beauty picks (see what Team BB writers Lauren, Sophia and Ashley are loving), and now it's my turn. While I don't have much time to devote to my beauty routine these days, I've been able to focus on fewer products that are hopefully better, and yes, a bit more expensive...but I'm in my mid-thirties now, so it's allowed. Here's what I've been using this summer that I think you'll love, too:

If you're like me, the summer heat makes your hair frizzy and your face oily; two things that are a girl's worst nightmare. Even though I love competing with friends to see who can get the tannest during the summer, I prefer the winter months because that's when my hair and complexion looks its best. I always carry a few products in my tote so that throughout my day I can freshen up without spending hours in front of the mirror. As the seasons change, so do the contents of my makeup bag. In the summer months, I pare everything down to simple basics and focus on taking care of my skin, which means rarely wearing a full face of makeup. I like keeping things light and easily manageable, making sure I can spend as much time as possible with friends, out in the sun and making memories. A handful of products can keep me glowing, moisturized, protected from UV rays and looking effortlessly gorgeous.
